Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Byström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breannain McNamee in the 8th minute of play forced Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gabriel-Omar Santirso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Bengt Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Santirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Jarl Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt Byström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Etor in the 18th minute. When Olov Tunander fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Bajenby's protests and gave Olov Tunander a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, IFK Bajenby's Olov Tunander got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 played minutes, Arroyito FC's Venancio Etor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt Byström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arroyito FC reached it. In the 23rd minute Xayvion Ageitos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Etor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Navarro Montoya came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Bajenby's Adolphe De Coster. But to his dismay, Adolphe De Coster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gabriel-Omar Santirsos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Bengt Byström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gabriel-Omar Santirso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Bengt Byström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Basarab Trif put in a rough tackle. After 40 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Trif. Jarl Torsberg struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Carlos Navarro Montoya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Bajenby. Gabriel-Omar Santirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xayvion Ageitos to make the kick off. Adolphe De Coster could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Carlos Navarro Montoya made a huge save. When Arroyito FC's Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Byström saved IFK Bajenby from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gabriel-Omar Santirso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt Byström was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xayvion Ageitos. Bengt Byström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel-Omar Santirso's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 81st match minute, Arroyito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel-Omar Santirso to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Arroyito FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel-Omar Santirso. 85 minutes into the game, Miroslav Kvita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arroyito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Bajenby the free kick. A collision led to Arroyito FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Miroslav Kvita hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xayvion Ageitos got free with Carlos Navarro Montoya in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Gabriel-Omar Santirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Byström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Gabriel-Omar Santirso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arroyito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Arroyito FC made a substitution. Adrian Gaizko replaced Gabriel-Omar Santirso. Many of IFK Bajenby's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. IFK Bajenby may have spent more time on the ball, but Arroyito FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
