Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shi Ming got free with Yavuz Bülent Akbatu in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shi Ming received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu came out and tried to block the shot, but Shi Ming slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shi Ming in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yavuz Bülent Akbatu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Navigators's Özbek Tokur was substituted for Derviş Erva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shi Ming in the 52nd minute of play forced Navigators's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Akbatu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Terremoto FC made a substitution. Bernard Mietus replaced Shi Ming. Navigators's Ahmet Malik was substituted for Yu Ke Hui. In the 66th minute, Epifanio Sal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göksun Uçanay in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Navigators defense, Bernard Mietus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yavuz Bülent Akbatu. The Navigators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yavuz Bülent Akbatu should have stopped the shot.
