Dursun Yılğıralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bayan Gugovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, POZANTI SPOR's Devlet İşcan got a free kick in the 14th minute. Vahdet İren hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dursun Yılğıralp in the 21st minute of the match. POZANTI SPOR's Sarp Demirsah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save POZANTI SPOR from getting a goal against them. Sarp Demirsah made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Aquiles Urtsin sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Sarp Demirsah managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, POZANTI SPOR's Sarp Demirsah got control of the ball when Aquiles Urtsin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aquiles Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sarp Demirsah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, POZANTI SPOR's Dursun Yılğıralp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bayan Gugovski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ertuğrul Nedret managed to get in a good position for a shot. POZANTI SPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Ertuğrul Nedret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Gugovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aquiles Urtsin to strike the kick off in the second half. Laurent Blanc hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Dursun Yılğıralp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bayan Gugovski having to make a save. A collision led to POZANTI SPOR getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ali Yılmaz hit a great ball. Sarp Demirsah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darwin Núñez struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sarp Demirsah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merengue FC. After a rather tough play, POZANTI SPOR's Ali Yılmaz got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, POZANTI SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Urtsin came free, but Sarp Demirsah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dursun Yılğıralp might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bayan Gugovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dursun Yılğıralp ran back to his position shaking his head. Laurent Blanc hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bayan Gugovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dursun Yılğıralp in the 77th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sarp Demirsah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 87th minute, Ediberto Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merengue FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With a little luck, Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski got control of the ball when Juan-Carlos Franques tried to sneak it across the goal line. POZANTI SPOR's Sarp Demirsah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Merengue FC fully deserved thier win.
