Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Rukszcz in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Benito Indartsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ADRIA MATRIX FC the free kick. Benito Indartsu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Hutchins in the 40th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Benny Bastard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Elizardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludomil Rukszcz was the one to do the kick off. Zdzislaw Kasperowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Olof Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Wiberg in the 69th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sarmiento de Resistencia from getting a goal against them. Olof Wiberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Elizardo having to make a save. If Olof Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olof Wiberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tobias Elizardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Olof Wiberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ludomil Rukszcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADRIA MATRIX FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomil Rukszcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Elizardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Olof Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over ADRIA MATRIX FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sarmiento de Resistencia throughout the match.
