Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Froilan Martino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tobias Elizardo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by LTA FC's Cláudio Caneo. But to his dismay, Cláudio Caneo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Cláudio Caneo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Elizardo. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cláudio Caneo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 17th minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LTA FC's Silver Mineur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save LTA FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Paulino Luix hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, LTA FC's Inocencio Ariando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cláudio Caneo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Elizardo having to interfere. In the 25th minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Palermo came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute LTA FC were awarded a corner. Inocencio Ariando went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on LTA FC's corner Inocencio Ariando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tobias Elizardo quite easily take care of the ball. When Evaristo Restu fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento de Resistencia's protests and gave Evaristo Restu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Restu to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Benito Indartsu. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Ariando in the 36th minute of play. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Caneo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Martin Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Elizardo. The wind increased when Martin Palermo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute LTA FC were awarded a corner. Inocencio Ariando went to the cornerflag to take it. Inocencio Ariando made a great header on LTA FC's corner, it was just that Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as LTA FC's Cláudio Caneo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobias Elizardo. That made the score 0-4 after 58 minutes of play. 61 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Palermo. In the 63rd minute, Aquiles Indar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Elizardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Palermo in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Froilan Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silver Mineur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LTA FC's Luis Bakar was substituted for Ivan Bernad. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Palermo in the 69th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silver Mineur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Martino in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bakar came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silver Mineur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Martino in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Francis Sarmiento hit a great ball. Tobias Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bakar in the 82nd minute of the match. Tobias Elizardo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by LTA FC's Luis Bakar. But to his dismay, Luis Bakar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. LTA FC's Gregorio Castulo was substituted for Martin Palermo. LTA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
