With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joost Blom in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Mellberg saved Sundens BK from getting behind. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Pieter Beuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Pieter Beuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Wall in the 8th minute of play. Axel Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Rein de Boer, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Sundens BK defense, Hub van Schaik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Mellberg. The Sundens BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Mellberg should have stopped the shot. Axel Mellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hub van Schaik in the 16th minute of the match. Axel Mellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joost Blom in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Ek to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carel Deiman in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Mellberg saved Sundens BK from getting behind. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Pieter Beuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Fernando Borges hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundens BK's goalkeeper Axel Mellberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eustaquio Pudes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pieter Beuk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Pieter Beuk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Pieter Beuk came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundens BK's Birger Wall. But to his dismay, Birger Wall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Pudes to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Mellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hub van Schaik's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Bertus Spijker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundens BK the free kick. Bertus Spijker kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sundens BK's Birger Wall got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 73 minutes, Joost Blom made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sundens BK's Axel Mellberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Borker. If Richard Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sundens BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's performance. The match ended with a win for Julias Rascals Apeldoorn.
