Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toby Dransfield took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Derk van Boxel came free, but Garth Hayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luuk Harmannus during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Lisburn Distillery F.C.. Brian Carter stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Taco Zwartkruis. 0-1. Glenn Abbey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Toby Dransfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Derk van Boxel struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Garth Hayes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Julias Rascals Apeldoorn. Taco Zwartkruis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glenn Abbey's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Taco Zwartkruis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Abbey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Glenn Abbey made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taco Zwartkruis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Izaak Struik struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Garth Hayes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Julias Rascals Apeldoorn. After 39 played minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pierce Fish. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Roelof van Kampen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Garth Hayes but with some difficulty. After the first half Lisburn Distillery F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Derk van Boxel made the kick off in the second half. Garth Hayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rien Bakker in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Jake Whiteside shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Roelof van Kampen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Roelof van Kampen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garth Hayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's zone, Toby Dransfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taco Zwartkruis came out of the goal and Toby Dransfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taco Zwartkruis made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Toby Dransfield sent off a good shot on target. If Toby Dransfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roelof van Kampen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Jake Whiteside kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Taco Zwartkruis. That made the score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. When the match was over Lisburn Distillery F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Julias Rascals Apeldoorn throughout the match.
