Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damaso Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Zabaleta having to interfere. With a little luck, Chupagol's Denny Zabaleta got control of the ball when Valentin Berart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorino Gregory made a great header on Club Tijuas's corner, it was just that Chupagol's Denny Zabaleta managed to reach the ball for a save. Damaso Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Zabaleta having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Mario Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denny Zabaleta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Gregory in the 24th minute of the match. Jeremias Txilar charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Txilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeremias Txilar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Hipolito Chepe, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 30th minute of the match Mario Rameriz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Berbiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Berart in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denny Zabaleta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Club Tijuas fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Club Tijuas's Valentin Berart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Club Tijuas's Valentin Berart in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Kelemen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Cipriano Kelemen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 59 minutes into the match, Club Tijuas's Valentin Berart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denny Zabaleta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Valentin Berart sped through Chupagol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denny Zabaleta. In the 65th minute, Americo Aresti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Cristo Selatse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Chupagol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Seber to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Chupagol's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Berart came free, but Denny Zabaleta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cipriano Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Chupagol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Kelemen couldn't finish the play. If Cipriano Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denny Zabaleta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Club Tijuas's Valentin Berart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denny Zabaleta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Damaso Gai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Tijuas fully deserved thier win.
