Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Corcovado's Juan Olo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Flavio Mendiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Berart in the 4th minute. When Valentin Berart in the 6th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Flavio Mendiko kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 13th minute, Roque Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes, Club Tijuas's Victorino Gregory shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Mendiko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Tijuas reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Berart in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Mendiko saved Corcovado from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Federico Nabar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roque Fertus's late challenge caught a Club Tijuas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Fertus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Corcovado's Roque Fertus got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Jeremias Txilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Tijuas getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eustacio Roano hit a great ball. Roque Fertus kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Berart in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Mendiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Corcovado's Flavio Mendiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Berart in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Juan Olo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Berbiz was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Berart made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Olo in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Tijuas's goalkeeper Flavio Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corcovado's Alfonso Crescencio got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Mendiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Selatse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Alfonso Crescencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corcovado and the Club Tijuas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Alfonso Crescencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Tijuas getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Celedonio Silvanito hit a great ball. Juan Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Valentin Berart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Tijuas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Berart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Tijuas's Flavio Berbiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Club Tijuas from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Juan Olo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Berbiz. Club Tijuas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Olo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Leopoldo Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Berart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Mendiko having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Club Tijuas players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
