After 10 played minutes Los Hijos del Papá got a freekick which was hit by Severo Teodor. Los Hijos del Papá's Alfredo Arista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Uxio in the 11th minute of play. Alfredo Arista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Di Martino in the 12th minute of the match. Arturo Lartaun was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Clemente Abeitia. Severo Teodor hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Biagio Di Martino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Arista. Los Hijos del Papá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Biagio Di Martino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Los Hijos del Papá defense, Wiktor Snäll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Arista. The Los Hijos del Papá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Arista should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Los Hijos del Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Snäll came free, but Alfredo Arista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Génesis's Arturo Lartaun got control of the ball when Sven-Ove Karlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Arista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Los Hijos del Papá's Alfredo Arista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Snäll in the 42nd minute of play. Sven-Ove Karlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Villarreal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dalmacio Mikelats kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Alfredo Arista didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léandre Ayewubo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Génesis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léandre Ayewubo to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Abeitia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo Lartaun. Génesis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Génesis getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Justo Santana hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Clemente Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Villarreal fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Hijos del Papá's protests and gave Alberto Villarreal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos del Papá's Alberto Villarreal got a free kick in the 68th minute. Wiktor Snäll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Alfredo Arista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Los Hijos del Papá getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Shantala in the 89th minute of play forced Génesis's goalkeeper Arturo Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Los Hijos del Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Uxio came free, but Alfredo Arista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Arista came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Génesis's Wiktor Snäll. But to his dismay, Wiktor Snäll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Génesis played a much better game than Los Hijos del Papá and deserved their victory. The Los Hijos del Papá players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
