Arturo Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Elodio in the 5th minute of the match. Gaudencio Karmel hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Freddy Elodio fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macachín FC's protests and gave Freddy Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Macachín FC's Freddy Elodio got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Génesis's Wiktor Snäll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Lamberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Macachín FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Danilo Bastia hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Léandre Ayewubo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Macachín FC's Generoso Lamberto. Generoso Lamberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Generoso Lamberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Léandre Ayewubo in the 26th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Wiktor Snäll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macachín FC's Generoso Lamberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macachín FC's goalkeeper Generoso Lamberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Generoso Lamberto came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Génesis's Wiktor Snäll. But to his dismay, Wiktor Snäll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Generoso Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Uxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustino Innocenzio scored 3-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Lartaun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wiktor Snäll struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Generoso Lamberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Génesis. With an all-out effort, Génesis's Generoso Lamberto threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wiktor Snäll, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Generoso Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Di Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Wiktor Snäll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Lamberto having to interfere. Génesis's Gaudencio Karmel got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Guillen to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Macachín FC's Camilo Guillen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. In the 55th minute, Faustino Innocenzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Macachín FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Snäll came free, but Generoso Lamberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Wiktor Snäll put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Generoso Lamberto. When Wiktor Snäll came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Génesis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Snäll couldn't finish the play. Generoso Lamberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wiktor Snäll's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 81 minutes, Wiktor Snäll made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Macachín FC's Generoso Lamberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Guillen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wiktor Snäll charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiktor Snäll the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léandre Ayewubo in the 91st minute of play forced Macachín FC's goalkeeper Generoso Lamberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Di Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Generoso Lamberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Léandre Ayewubo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Génesis were the better team. Génesis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
