Spectators: 6804 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Libardo Serrano got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Hinguanzo in the 3rd minute of play forced Bletchley's goalkeeper Ricardo Ochoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Ochoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Bermudez in the 5th minute of the match. Bletchley's Ricardo Ochoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Hinguanzo in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Rene Hinguanzo made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Ochoa. Bletchley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Antonio Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ricardo Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Hinguanzo scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Ochoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Bermudez in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Ochoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th match minute, Bletchley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Coreas to maneuver through the defense. Rene Hinguanzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Ochoa having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Bletchley got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Coreas. Ricardo Ochoa came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by F.C Guatemala's Antonio Bermudez. But to his dismay, Antonio Bermudez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Rene Hinguanzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ricardo Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Bletchley's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Bermudez came free, but Ricardo Ochoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Antonio Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ochoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Rene Hinguanzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Ochoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half F.C Guatemala were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Antonio Bermudez struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ricardo Ochoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Guatemala. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Hinguanzo in the 56th minute of play forced Bletchley's goalkeeper Ricardo Ochoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th of the match, Rene Hinguanzo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ricardo Ochoa got in the way and made a wonderful save. Jonathan Cerritos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deris Alferez having to interfere. Bletchley's Libardo Serrano got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Bermudez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Ochoa made a huge save. Isaac Vinosis charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Vinosis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute of the match Daniel Renderos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Ochoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 68 played minutes Bletchley got a freekick which was hit by Armando Aguilar. Ricardo Ochoa made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Antonio Bermudez sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the F.C Guatemala defense, Jonathan Cerritos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deris Alferez. The F.C Guatemala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deris Alferez should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bletchley's Rony Coria got a free kick in the 81st minute. Antonio Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ricardo Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raúl Salguero kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Allan Leguizamon's late challenge caught a F.C Guatemala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Leguizamon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bletchley getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Allan Leguizamon hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bletchley's Ricardo Ochoa got control of the ball when Alberto Velis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When F.C Guatemala's Rene Hinguanzo in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bletchley's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, Rene Hinguanzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The F.C Guatemala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing F.C Guatemala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
