A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, F.C Guatemala's goal looked a bit too open when Erick Guevara came free, but Deris Alferez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C Guatemala's Antonio Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erick Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Bermudez struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Wilber Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Guatemala. Wilber Pinho made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Antonio Bermudez sent off a good shot on target. After 43 played minutes Amor Al Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Benji Posadas. If Erick Guevara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Amor Al Fútbol's Ladislao Reyes got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ladislao Reyes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amor Al Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Reyes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deris Alferez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, F.C Guatemala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Salguero to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Bermudez in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilber Pinho saved Amor Al Fútbol from getting behind. Wilber Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Hinguanzo in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Hinguanzo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilber Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilber Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Hinguanzo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Amor Al Fútbol's Erick Guevara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Deris Alferez. That made the score 1-1 after 97 minutes of play.
