Abel Villapadierna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Villapadierna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alesander Arveras in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Alesander Arveras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inca Empire FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alesander Arveras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ostots Nurueña was the one to do the kick off. Abel Villapadierna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alesander Arveras in the 52nd minute. Ostots Nurueña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Villapadierna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Patapon FC's Ernesto Viesca got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Galindo Llain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurgi Islañana having to make a save. When Ernesto Viesca came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Patapon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Viesca couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Galindo Llain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgi Islañana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Villapadierna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alesander Arveras in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Domiku Caraballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patapon FC and the Inca Empire FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Patapon FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Domiku Caraballo hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Inca Empire FC's Ihintza Llopiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Galindo Llain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inca Empire FC's Jurgi Islañana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Inca Empire FC's Ostots Nurueña dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After 81 played minutes Inca Empire FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Pacios. When Ernesto Viesca fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patapon FC's protests and gave Ernesto Viesca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Ernesto Viesca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Galindo Llain in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jurgi Islañana saved Inca Empire FC from getting behind. Jurgi Islañana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galindo Llain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Villapadierna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alesander Arveras in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ernesto Viesca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patapon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Viesca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurgi Islañana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Inca Empire FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
