Loreto Palanques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Montxo in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Hipolito Ponce made a precise shot to the right of Albano Alfonso. Manzalima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Feliciano Contera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Alfonso. Manzalima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Contera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 26th minute Niceto Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loreto Palanques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Ponce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Alfonso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. When Hipolito Ponce fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AlmaToran's protests and gave Hipolito Ponce a yellow card for diving instead. Niceto Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Loreto Palanques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loreto Palanques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to AlmaToran getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Hipolito Ponce hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Montxo to make the kick off. Niceto Montxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loreto Palanques having to make a save. Niceto Montxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Alfonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chan Mariny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loreto Palanques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Montxo in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AlmaToran's zone, Niceto Montxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loreto Palanques came out of the goal and Niceto Montxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albano Alfonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Niceto Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzalima's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Montxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loreto Palanques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th match minute, Manzalima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucila Bojorquez to maneuver through the defense.
