Hipolito Ponce started the match with the kick off. When Jeraldo Abellaneda came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the AlmaToran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeraldo Abellaneda couldn't finish the play. AlmaToran's Loreto Palanques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Goossens in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Xavier Goossens got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Ponce in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urmas Känsäkangas saved SK Gullegem from getting behind. After 15 played minutes AlmaToran got a freekick which was hit by Lope Lortia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xavier Goossens in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loreto Palanques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nico Jamieson made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson. 温威兴 lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of AlmaToran:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SK Gullegem:s goal. In the 26th minute, Feliciano Contera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Chan Mariny came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the AlmaToran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chan Mariny couldn't finish the play. AlmaToran's Jeraldo Abellaneda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nico Jamieson, made in the 44th minute of the game. Arotza Dobarral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urmas Känsäkangas having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xavier Goossens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AlmaToran's Jeraldo Abellaneda managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nico Jamieson in the 53 minute of the game. Arotza Dobarral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Urmas Känsäkangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arotza Dobarral kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Loreto Palanques made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Xavier Goossens sent off a good shot on target. Xavier Goossens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Chabier Omente had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Otto Nørlinger fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Gullegem's protests and gave Otto Nørlinger a yellow card for diving instead. AlmaToran made a substitution. Argider Ocejo replaced Chabier Omente. In the 72nd minute, Otto Nørlinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Gullegem's Urmas Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Contera in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Feliciano Contera managed to get in a good position for a shot. AlmaToran's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Contera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urmas Känsäkangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loreto Palanques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes AlmaToran got a freekick which was hit by Arotza Dobarral. In the 84th minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Chan Mariny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argider Ocejo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The SK Gullegem supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SK Gullegem would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
