In the 6th minute, Eriberto Bingen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Candia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Özcan Yoruç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislao Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Bingen in the 10th minute of play forced UPAO's goalkeeper Carlos Candia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Candia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Bingen went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Ladislao Orixe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özcan Yoruç was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind UCV's goalkeeper Özcan Yoruç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Navarro Perez got free with Carlos Candia in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özcan Yoruç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikifor Bozadzhiyski in the 31st minute of play. UPAO's Carlos Candia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavon Pinazas in the 32nd minute of play. Carlos Candia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Bingen in the 34th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, UCV's Carlos Candia threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bixintxo Arbieto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carlos Candia made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Javier Malmonje sent off a good shot on target. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ladislao Orixe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. UPAO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eriberto Bingen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Carlos Candia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Malmonje, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, UCV's Eriberto Bingen made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Candia was left in no man's land by his defense there! UCV's Araoz Pereña was substituted for Bixintxo Arbieto. There was no doubt that UCV were the better team. UCV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
