Bikendi Cerezal charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bikendi Cerezal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 16 minutes into the match, Garfield Dream Team's goalkeeper Faron Aleso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrico Franques. Faron Aleso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrico Franques in the 17th minute. Lope Graña hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bikendi Cerezal was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Orland Pose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faron Aleso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Elazar Tesillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPAO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
