With a little luck, Tigres's Fanuco Zubicoeta got control of the ball when Saverio Reyes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Klas Mager managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU's supporters rose to their feet, but Klas Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fanuco Zubicoeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fanuco Zubicoeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maule Bajo in the 13th minute of play. Fachtna Duggan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Reyes came free, but Fanuco Zubicoeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fanuco Zubicoeta made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Benito Gudesteo sent off a good shot on target. Fagildo Alcubilla kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tigres defense, Benito Gudesteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fanuco Zubicoeta. The Tigres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fanuco Zubicoeta should have stopped the shot. Fanuco Zubicoeta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benito Gudesteo in the 26th minute. 4-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Saverio Reyes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Fachtna Duggan came free, but Fanuco Zubicoeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Benito Gudesteo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fanuco Zubicoeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 43rd minute, Saverio Reyes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fanuco Zubicoeta. The goal made the score 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Gudesteo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU's Fachtna Duggan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fanuco Zubicoeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Cléber Santana's late challenge caught a LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléber Santana helped the player get up and apologised. LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU's Felipillo Guipuzcoa was substituted for Fachtna Duggan. Fanuco Zubicoeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Gudesteo in the 60th minute of play. LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU made a substitution. Silvério Macedo replaced Benito Gudesteo. Fanuco Zubicoeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU fully deserved thier win.
