Tigres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isias Sodupe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isias Sodupe in the 23rd minute of play forced Tigres's goalkeeper Fanuco Zubicoeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tigres's goalkeeper Fanuco Zubicoeta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Cléber Santana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucas Junyent, passed just outside the right post. 28 minutes into the game, Dabi Sodupe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fanuco Zubicoeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Junyent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errando Oquerruri, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Cristobal Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Lucas Junyent successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Tigres defense, Lino Urquioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fanuco Zubicoeta. The Tigres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fanuco Zubicoeta should have stopped the shot. Fagildo Alcubilla kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Tigres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.M.O PAITA were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Isias Sodupe made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, S.M.O PAITA's Nazario Escalada made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanuco Zubicoeta was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Tigres's Fanuco Zubicoeta got control of the ball when Nazario Escalada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Errando Oquerruri charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Errando Oquerruri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errando Oquerruri to maneuver through the defense. After 70th play minutes Isias Sodupe shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Fanuco Zubicoeta and just under the crossbar into goal. Isias Sodupe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fanuco Zubicoeta having to make a save. Fanuco Zubicoeta made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Isias Sodupe sent off a good shot on target. Tigres's Fanuco Zubicoeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Refugio in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tigres's zone, Cristobal Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanuco Zubicoeta came out of the goal and Cristobal Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Lino Urquioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanuco Zubicoeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Refugio, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Errando Oquerruri struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Lucas Junyent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigres. Lucas Junyent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagildo Alcubilla in the 88th minute of the match. Modesto Brugos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Tigres's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dabi Sodupe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. S.M.O PAITA played a much better game than Tigres and deserved their victory. The Tigres players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
