Benito Gudesteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Özcan Yoruç made a huge save. After 30 minutes, Fabio Caborredondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU and the UCV players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, one of LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The LOS INTIMOS DEL PERU supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UCV's performance. The match ended with a win for UCV.
