A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Groșan came free, but Alfred Kochowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chucho Garrido in the 34th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Alfred Kochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ray Ruth sped through CORSARIO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mendoza Vall.
