Roque Olazagoitia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nerio Trincado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Cristian Garnelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Olazagoitia was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Cristian Garnelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roque Olazagoitia having to make a save. Roque Olazagoitia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nerio Trincado went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danel Urreta got free with Faustino Viñambre in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C&H 1964's Cristian Garnelo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Garnelo scored 0-5 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Olazagoitia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danel Urreta got free with Faustino Viñambre in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Matamoros defense, Cristian Garnelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Olazagoitia. The Matamoros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Olazagoitia should have stopped the shot. After 39 minutes, Cristian Garnelo made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. In the 89th minute Cristian Garnelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Olazagoitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matamoros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Cristian Garnelo scored to the left of an out of position Roque Olazagoitia, making the score, 1-13. C&H 1964's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
