Horacio Naredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bras Pico in the 19th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Mahomito's Naike Bradi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Naredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roano Jofre kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Guillelmus Llain didn't quite understand what happened when in the 28 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When Lucian Enebro fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mahomito's protests and gave Lucian Enebro a yellow card for diving instead. Lucian Enebro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Hori Lamiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Llaneros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mahomito the free kick. In the 33rd minute, Hori Lamiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mahomito booed when Llaneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillelmus Llain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavon Valenciaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hori Lamiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Llaneros's zone, Lucian Enebro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Naredo came out of the goal and Lucian Enebro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Llaneros's Horacio Naredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bras Pico in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bras Pico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naike Bradi in the 52nd minute of play forced Llaneros's goalkeeper Horacio Naredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Rotalo got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Remigio Donallo. Hori Lamiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Xavon Valenciaga made a huge save. Horacio Naredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bras Pico's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Llaneros's Horacio Naredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bras Pico in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Donallo during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Llaneros's Remigio Donallo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Hori Lamiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xavon Valenciaga came out and tried to block the shot, but Hori Lamiar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 69th minute. Hori Lamiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavon Valenciaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Bras Pico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Naredo having to interfere. Ambrosio Murillas took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Naredo. Horacio Naredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Llaneros's Horacio Naredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bras Pico in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Naike Bradi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Naredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, Mahomito failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
