Racing club Calabozo's Maties Mestanza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Racing club Calabozo from getting a goal against them. Hori Lamiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hori Lamiar got free with Maties Mestanza in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maties Mestanza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillelmus Llain's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. A collision led to Racing club Calabozo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Martin Zalvide hit a great ball. Guillelmus Llain took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maties Mestanza. Racing club Calabozo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Horacio Naredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiger Waaentz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiger Waaentz in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horacio Naredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Llaneros's Guillelmus Llain got a free kick in the 34th minute. Benedicto Alfaro's late challenge caught a Racing club Calabozo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. Maties Mestanza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hori Lamiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Hori Lamiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llaneros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hori Lamiar to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hori Lamiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llaneros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Horacio Naredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiger Waaentz's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Tiger Waaentz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Naredo having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Hori Lamiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maties Mestanza was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Guillelmus Llain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Racing club Calabozo's goal looked a bit too open when Hori Lamiar came free, but Maties Mestanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Hori Lamiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing club Calabozo's Maties Mestanza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Llaneros's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillelmus Llain in the 85th minute. Eutropio Bueras tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Maties Mestanza. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-0 in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiger Waaentz got free with Horacio Naredo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Racing club Calabozo's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Llaneros had won, even though Racing club Calabozo had held more of the ball.
