Ortzi Goxenola was slow to take the kick. During this time Unikurdos United F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Unikurdos United F.C.'s Hever Zapatero getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Marc Flecken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ortzi Goxenola in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Gheorghe Blajin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sesuldo Teijelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Sesuldo Teijelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jem Jajecznica in the 18th minute of play. Daniel Fribäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Flecken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Fribäck ran back to his position shaking his head. Sesuldo Teijelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Blajin, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ivan Fidalgos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Sesuldo Teijelo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gheorghe Blajin in the 24th minute. Servet Serkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Flecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc Flecken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Fribäck in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Fribäck in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Flecken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jem Jajecznica in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sesuldo Teijelo saved Unikurdos United F.C. from getting behind. If Daniel Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Blajin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sesuldo Teijelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Fribäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Fribäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Daniel Fribäck made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Blajin in the 54th minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Sesuldo Teijelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Velasco Balbanea was substituted for Horacio Escajadillo. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Rojelio Carrera was substituted for Daniel Fribäck. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Min Bustelo was substituted for Gaizka Mendieta. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Yaar O'Connell was substituted for Colon Frecha. Yaar O'Connell made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Balu Bossaert immediately put the ball in play. Sesuldo Teijelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Chigüires De Mogadiscio made a substitution. Roberto Nabar replaced Osoro Otero. Sesuldo Teijelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Failde in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jem Jajecznica's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sesuldo Teijelo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Marc Flecken got control of the ball when Hever Zapatero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 played minutes Unikurdos United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Min Bustelo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Blajin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sesuldo Teijelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chigüires De Mogadiscio were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
