The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AJ Juventus FC's Mambru Puertas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Blajin in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Balu Bossaert got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Ryszard Pankiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Marc Flecken. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Failde in the 17th minute of play forced AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Mambru Puertas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Yvan Rompen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Darin Prior in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Balu Bossaert. Mambru Puertas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jem Jajecznica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mambru Puertas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jem Jajecznica in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Antonio Failde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mambru Puertas was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When Jem Jajecznica came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chigüires De Mogadiscio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jem Jajecznica couldn't finish the play. Jem Jajecznica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jem Jajecznica was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd match minute, Chigüires De Mogadiscio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osoro Otero to maneuver through the defense. Chigüires De Mogadiscio made a substitution. Elvis Crespo replaced Colon Frecha. Osoro Otero kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ryszard Pankiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Flecken. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Pankiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. AJ Juventus FC made a substitution. Damario Monteserin replaced Lv Chen Xing. 74 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's Toma Cabeza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Flecken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AJ Juventus FC's Genaro Valdemoro got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Blajin got free with Mambru Puertas in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Marc Flecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toma Cabeza in the 82nd minute of play. AJ Juventus FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Chigüires De Mogadiscio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladimir Tepes took the corner. The corner ended in Vladimir Tepes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Marc Flecken did a great save. 93 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Failde came free, but Mambru Puertas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AJ Juventus FC had won after a very even match.
