After 10 minutes of play, Memphis United FC's Oren Cooley made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orville Baggett was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 14 minutes, Oren Cooley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oren Cooley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Juve 17 defense, Mickey Rowland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orville Baggett. The Juve 17 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orville Baggett should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Memphis United FC booed when Juve 17 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Chambers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orville Baggett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oren Cooley in the 34th minute of the match. Sonny Aragon charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Aragon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Juve 17's Sonny Aragon got a free kick in the 35th minute. Mickey Rowland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Orville Baggett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Memphis United FC booed when Juve 17 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Aragon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derrick Askew hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Antoine Kearney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oren Cooley to make the kick off. When Truman Yeager came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Memphis United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Truman Yeager couldn't finish the play. Colby Wilkins made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tory Moon immediately put the ball in play. In the 68th minute, Oren Cooley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orville Baggett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 72nd minute Marcus Eddy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orville Baggett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Memphis United FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nathan Petersen hit a great ball. Oren Cooley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Baggett having to interfere. After some careless play in the Juve 17 defense, Truman Yeager kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orville Baggett. The Juve 17 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orville Baggett should have stopped the shot. Mickey Rowland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Mickey Rowland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orville Baggett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Rowland in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Juve 17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darell Ledbetter to maneuver through the defense. Orville Baggett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Askew, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Juve 17's Clayton Davies got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Clayton Davies off the ground. Memphis United FC's Ronny Whitfield was substituted for Mickey Rowland. Oren Cooley struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Orville Baggett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Memphis United FC. The Juve 17 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Memphis United FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
