Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malcolm McGrath in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Bernier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malcolm McGrath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Román Riquelme's Eduardo Cardwell got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Malcolm McGrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Quazz Imperials's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm McGrath came free, but Joel Bernier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Reuben Quintero managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Román Riquelme's supporters rose to their feet, but Reuben Quintero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Bernier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wade Hendrickson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezra Schmitt hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Joesph Chadwick's late challenge caught a C.A. Román Riquelme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
