Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lincoln Root made the kick off which started today's match. Alfred Russo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devin Conley, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Pelicans SC's goalkeeper Jamel Dupre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Stafford. In the 9th minute Devin Conley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Russo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lincoln Root received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jamel Dupre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Russo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devin Conley in the 15th minute of play. Somerset's Alfred Russo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Rasmussen in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curt Dorsey in the 18th minute of play forced Somerset's goalkeeper Alfred Russo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Curt Dorsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Russo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamel Dupre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lincoln Root in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Somerset's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Rasmussen came free, but Alfred Russo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Russo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Pelicans SC's Reuben Rasmussen. But to his dismay, Reuben Rasmussen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Ervin Woodall fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jamel Dupre, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Somerset getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Perry Dodge hit a great ball. Alfred Russo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Dorsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pelicans SC's Jamel Dupre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Epps in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Reuben Rasmussen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Alfred Russo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curt Dwyer got free with Alfred Russo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Russo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Rasmussen in the 55th minute of the match. Devin Conley came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alfred Russo could save by the left post. Donny Lincoln kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Curt Dwyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Alfred Russo made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Alfred Russo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 64 minutes into the match, Curt Dwyer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Russo. Somerset's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Curt Dwyer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 70th minute, Adrian Stafford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devin Conley during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pelicans SC's Devin Conley got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Curt Dwyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Russo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Devin Conley sent off a good shot on target. Reuben Rasmussen took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Russo. Alfred Russo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Domenic Whitman hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Domenic Whitman's late challenge caught a Somerset's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenic Whitman helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Pelicans SC got a freekick which was hit by Domenic Whitman. Alfred Russo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reuben Rasmussen in the 96th minute of play. Pelicans SC played a much better game than Somerset and deserved their victory. The Somerset players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
