After a rather tough play, Somerset's Emanuel Gipson got a free kick in the 4th minute. Casper Epps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lincoln Roots short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got King Adams to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the game, Ervin Woodall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. King Adams was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Casper Epps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King Adams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Somerset defense, Collin Paulson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred Russo. The Somerset fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Russo should have stopped the shot. Casper Epps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. King Adams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ramon Godfrey fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bronx Bombers FC's protests and gave Ramon Godfrey a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Somerset booed when Bronx Bombers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Godfrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Russo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Collin Paulson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, Somerset's Perry Dodge got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Perry Dodge's late challenge caught a Bronx Bombers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perry Dodge helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bronx Bombers FC booed when Somerset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Dodge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bronx Bombers FC's King Adams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Epps in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Somerset were awarded a corner. Ervin Woodall went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Somerset's corner Denver Jones fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and King Adams quite easily take care of the ball. Lincoln Root recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Casper Epps managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somerset's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Epps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. King Adams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Somerset's Alfred Russo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Collin Paulson in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Van Simmons could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Alfred Russo however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Bronx Bombers FC's Gary Feldman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfred Russo. That made the score 1-2 after 78 minutes of play. Alfred Russo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Collin Paulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Somerset booed when Bronx Bombers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stacey Bryant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes, Somerset's Ervin Woodall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper King Adams came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Somerset reached it. Alfred Russo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randy Farmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Van Simmons made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Russo. Somerset's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 96th minute of the match Donny Lincoln shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but King Adams showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Casper Epps managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somerset's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Epps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. King Adams breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Somerset supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bronx Bombers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bronx Bombers FC.
