Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Maxwell Tyler made the kick off which started today's match. Dexter Jernigan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felipe Coronado having to make a save. In the 5th minute Evan Doty suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When George Benitez fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elkhorn's protests and gave George Benitez a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Elkhorn got a freekick which was hit by George Benitez. When Emilio McFadden came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Springfield FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio McFadden couldn't finish the play. After having played for 9 minutes, Dexter Jernigan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Springfield FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dexter Jernigan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Huggins hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Logan Stockton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Springfield FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Wallace Park hit a great ball. Dexter Jernigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Felipe Coronado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, Springfield FC's Emilio McFadden made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Coronado was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dexter Jernigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Castaneda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipe Coronado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Elkhorn's goalkeeper Felipe Coronado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Wallace Page didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Elkhorn's Logan Stockton shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jared Cody took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wallace Page. Wallace Page dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 65th match minute, Elkhorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Bloom to maneuver through the defense. Maxwell Tyler kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Springfield FC's Wallace Page played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Logan Stockton in the 73rd minute of play. If Jared Cody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxwell Tyler hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dexter Jernigan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Springfield FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dexter Jernigan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Coronado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Logan Stockton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Logan Stockton sped through Springfield FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wallace Page. Dexter Jernigan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Felipe Coronado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxwell Tyler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Elkhorn players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
