The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Woody Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Woody Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Osteraker's supporters rose to their feet, but Woody Rogers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cezary Koczara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, IFK Osteraker's Trevor Moss got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Robin Robles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Royce Mayberry was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Domenico Medina's late challenge caught a Apathy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domenico Medina helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes IFK Osteraker got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Medina. IFK Osteraker's Ernesto Finn shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cezary Koczara but with some difficulty. When Shelby Sweet fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Osteraker's protests and gave Shelby Sweet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, IFK Osteraker's Shelby Sweet got a free kick in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Ron Odell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apathy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Osteraker the free kick. The supporters of IFK Osteraker booed when Apathy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron Odell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cezary Koczara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bronson Bannister in the 98th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
