The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in BUITRES II fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Chase Palacios had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Adalberto Davila's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 8 minutes into the game, BUITRES II's Dan Pike nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lawrence Pack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sandy Currie hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Marlin Stout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ZANGEZUR booed when BUITRES II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremiah Richmond didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, BUITRES II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Pike to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by BUITRES II's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adalberto Davila was slow to take the kick. During this time ZANGEZUR's players had a chance to rest. Stefan Samuels made a great header on ZANGEZUR's corner, it was just that BUITRES II's Chase Palacios managed to reach the ball for a save. After 28 minutes, Henry Ferris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZANGEZUR and the BUITRES II players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lawrence Pack made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Dan Pike sent off a good shot on target. Chase Palacios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinton Lindsay went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Chase Palacios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Crum, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Lawrence Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbert Mora in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Stefan Samuels notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of BUITRES II's Chase Palacios. Chase Palacios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The BUITRES II players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ZANGEZUR were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Wilbert Mora made the kick off in the second half. Chase Palacios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Samuels, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, ZANGEZUR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Davila to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, BUITRES II's Cordeiro Asadov tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 60 played minutes BUITRES II got a freekick which was hit by Dan Pike. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Henry Ferris managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZANGEZUR's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Ferris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chase Palacios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ZANGEZUR's Sonny McKay was substituted for DeAngelo Sherrill. Chase Palacios made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Marlin Stout sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, BUITRES II's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Bassett came free, but Chase Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ZANGEZUR booed when BUITRES II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalton Holder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chase Palacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Samuels in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Dan Pike had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lawrence Pack. ZANGEZUR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Pike was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as ZANGEZUR's Vicente Bassett slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chase Palacios. That made the score 2-3 after 87 minutes of play. If Dan Pike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chase Palacios made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Marlin Stout sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Marlin Stout got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
