With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allen Salinas in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dana Lester saved Copenhagen FC from getting behind. Dana Lester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Pike went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dana Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allen Salinas's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Sandy Currie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Copenhagen FC got a freekick which was hit by Murray Pierce. Dana Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allen Salinas's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Randell Light hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Randell Light recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chase Palacios. Randell Light showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Copenhagen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Pike came free, but Dana Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Rodney Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dana Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allen Salinas's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Copenhagen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Pike came free, but Dana Lester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Randell Light to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Copenhagen FC's goalkeeper Dana Lester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bola Toro. Murray Pierce's late challenge caught a BUITRES II's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murray Pierce helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BUITRES II booed when Copenhagen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murray Pierce didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, BUITRES II's Allen Salinas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dana Lester was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 63 minutes, Corey Worthington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copenhagen FC and the BUITRES II players grew even worse after the yellow card. Corey Worthington kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. With his leg Dana Lester managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when BUITRES II's Allen Salinas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Murray Pierce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chase Palacios having to interfere. With a little luck, Copenhagen FC's Dana Lester got control of the ball when Dalton Holder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allen Salinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wilbert Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allen Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dana Lester having to interfere. A collision led to Copenhagen FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Micah Curran hit a great ball. Dana Lester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allen Salinas went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Allen Salinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chase Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murray Pierce in the 96th minute of the match.
