Spectators: 8505 (Terracing: 6387, Seating: 1958, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lincoln Poirier got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Björn Magnusson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Boyd Delgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clemente Clemente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvester Street, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylvester Street recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Björn Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Boyd Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lincoln Poirier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Clemente having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Charlotte FC's Björn Magnusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyd Delgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. William Cochran hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Björn Magnusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Charlotte FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Charlotte FC's Kaja Jamak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the game, Charlotte FC's Björn Magnusson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyd Delgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Kareem Stoddard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boyd Delgado came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Charlotte FC's Kareem Stoddard. But to his dismay, Kareem Stoddard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The wind increased when Björn Magnusson made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Poirier came free, but Clemente Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. American Top Team's Boyd Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Magnusson in the 53rd minute of play. Clemente Clemente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Charlotte FC's Björn Magnusson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. When William Cochran fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Top Team's protests and gave William Cochran a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Charlotte FC booed when American Top Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Cochran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Kareem Stoddard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Boyd Delgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Primo Dunđer kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Boyd Delgado made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Wander Suzanne sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Wander Suzanne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyd Delgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Boyd Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wander Suzanne in the 86th minute. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for American Top Team! When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, Charlotte FC's Wander Suzanne got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Boyd Delgado. In the 92nd minute, Wander Suzanne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charlotte FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. Boyd Delgado came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Charlotte FC's Kaja Jamak. But to his dismay, Kaja Jamak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. When the match was over Charlotte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than American Top Team throughout the match.
