Boyd Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Deshawn Glenn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boyd Delgado. American Top Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deshawn Glenn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Enrique Hutchison charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Hutchison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, American Top Team's Enrique Hutchison got a free kick in the 16th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Sal Jarrell notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of American Top Team's Boyd Delgado. Boyd Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Illinois Bluewaters booed when American Top Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvester Street didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Gorman. After 40 minutes, Curtis Gorman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Top Team and the Illinois Bluewaters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Curtis Gorman kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Boyd Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deshawn Glenn, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Boyd Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deshawn Glenn in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Illinois Bluewaters getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dante Todd hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Deshawn Glenn took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Boyd Delgado to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st minute, Sal Jarrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boyd Delgado. The goal made the score 0-7. Boyd Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sal Jarrell in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Todd in the 72nd minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Boyd Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boyd Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deshawn Glenn in the 73rd minute. 77 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Sal Jarrell came free, but Boyd Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boyd Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sal Jarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. American Top Team's Boyd Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save American Top Team from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Illinois Bluewaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otis Connors to maneuver through the defense. The Illinois Bluewaters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Illinois Bluewaters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
