Spectators: 8507 (Terracing: 6388, Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 160) American Top Team's Lincoln Poirier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lamar Arthur took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boyd Delgado. Boyd Delgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Cuevas in the 6th minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Boyd Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Lee Cuevas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Boyd Delgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lincoln Poirier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Santos Santio made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Lamar Arthur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chard United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Lamar Arthur hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Chard United's goalkeeper Santos Santio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lincoln Poirier. 27 minutes into the game, Chard United's Kerem Aktürkoglu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyd Delgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Boyd Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Cuevas in the 30th minute of play. Sylvester Street fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Santio having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lamar Arthur in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyd Delgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for American Top Team! Lee Cuevas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Boyd Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chard United. Boyd Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lee Cuevas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chard United's Dalton James was substituted for Florian Sadlowski. American Top Team's Boyd Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee Cuevas in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Lamar Arthur notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of American Top Team's Boyd Delgado. Boyd Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Derrick Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chard United getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Virgilio Kennedy hit a great ball. Jospeh Aranda hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Boyd Delgado was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Lee Cuevas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lee Cuevas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After 78 played minutes Chard United got a freekick which was hit by Lee Cuevas. Sylvester Street received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Santos Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the American Top Team defense, Lee Cuevas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyd Delgado. The American Top Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyd Delgado should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Norbert Swift dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boyd Delgado, 0-10. Lee Cuevas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Boyd Delgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Lee Cuevas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 92nd minute. The Chard United fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Chard United's Lee Cuevas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chard United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
