Ward Layton hit a great ball. Brandon Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jayson Slaughter was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tim Davila. Tim Davila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jayson Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Domenic Biggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Farris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alfredo Hartman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter got control of the ball when Tim Davila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicky Prescott scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jayson Slaughter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tim Davila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebel Squids's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Davila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jayson Slaughter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Victor Burger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes, Los Gordos's Jay Seals shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddie Farris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Gordos reached it. In the 40th match minute, Los Gordos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Walton to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Los Gordos booed when Rebel Squids was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicky Prescott didn't get a good kick on the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Tim Davila elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Davila to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tim Davila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebel Squids's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Davila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jayson Slaughter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tim Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenic Biggs got free with Freddie Farris in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tim Davila might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jayson Slaughter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tim Davila ran back to his position shaking his head. Rebel Squids's attentive Victor Burger managed to snatch the ball when Houston Dupree made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. If Tim Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nicky Prescott came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Rebel Squids fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicky Prescott couldn't finish the play. Rodrick Hardy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th match minute, Los Gordos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Walton to maneuver through the defense. If Domenic Biggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Davila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rebel Squids's Tim Davila got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Davila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Slaughter having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Los Gordos's zone, Tim Davila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayson Slaughter came out of the goal and Tim Davila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jayson Slaughter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Prescott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Burger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tim Davila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Los Gordos defense, Tim Davila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jayson Slaughter. The Los Gordos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jayson Slaughter should have stopped the shot.
