Craig Velazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sammy Nixon's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orhan Seyfi Sancar got free with Craig Velazquez in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mountain West FC's Roy Holman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 8th minute of play. After 16 minutes Mountain West FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel McGrath who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Misinformed Buffalo's corner Gabriel McGrath fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roy Holman quite easily take care of the ball. After 19 minutes Misinformed Buffalo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Van Walls who took care of the corner kick. Mountain West FC's Van Walls was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Craig Velazquez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Sammy Nixon sped through Misinformed Buffalo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Craig Velazquez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Nixon got free with Craig Velazquez in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mountain West FC's Roy Holman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eli Fournier in the 26th minute of play. Craig Velazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sammy Nixon's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. A collision led to Misinformed Buffalo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Anthony Cullen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sammy Nixon in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Craig Velazquez saved Misinformed Buffalo from getting behind. With a little luck, Misinformed Buffalo's Craig Velazquez got control of the ball when Sammy Nixon tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 38th minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mountain West FC's Roy Holman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Alefors in the 41st minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sammy Nixon to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Misinformed Buffalo's Dadá Lara got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 62nd minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mountain West FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Chris Reyna hit a great ball. Roy Holman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 67th minute of play. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Nixon in the 71st minute of the match. Leo Alefors hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Nixon in the 72nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Roy Holman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 76 minutes into the match, Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eli Fournier. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Holman saved Mountain West FC from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Sammy Nixon made a precise shot to the right of Craig Velazquez. Misinformed Buffalo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Mountain West FC's Leif Donaldson was substituted for Angelo Dumas. Dadá Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montrel Belber kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Mountain West FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
