Jonas Cole who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Craig Velazquez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Craig Velazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trenton Long in the 16th minute of play. Craig Velazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Cole in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Cole in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Craig Velazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 29 in the game by Jonas Cole from a close distance when the talented Craig Velazquez managed to make a qualified save. Misinformed Buffalo's players were relieved. Alfredo Di Stéfano took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jospeh McNally. Brooklyn SC's Ollie Mejia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Craig Velazquez but with some difficulty. In the 43rd minute, Roland Wray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Brooklyn SC fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Brooklyn SC's Jonas Cole looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Craig Velazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel McGrath hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Misinformed Buffalo's Craig Velazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Cole in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jonas Cole's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Craig Velazquez was relentless in the 60th minute of the game.
