Mario Dutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Dutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayden Burley, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos FC's Dexter Holt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stratos Paxinos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Panathinaikos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 乔光云 in the 7th minute. A nice corner shot did that Paul Iftodi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stratos Paxinos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mario Dutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Burley in the 9th minute of play. In the 19th minute Glauco Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Paxinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Panathinaikos FC defense, Ryan West kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Dutton. The Panathinaikos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Dutton should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Stewe's goal looked a bit too open when Indrek Veskimeister came free, but Stratos Paxinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Stewe's Stratos Paxinos got control of the ball when Indrek Veskimeister tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 played minutes Panathinaikos FC got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Nascimento. Mario Dutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Burley in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayden Burley in the 38th minute of play forced Panathinaikos FC's goalkeeper Mario Dutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Stewe booed when Panathinaikos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stewe's Hayden Burley got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Wayne Mays mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stewe and the Panathinaikos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Stewe got a freekick which was hit by Wayne Mays. Dexter Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Stewe booed when Panathinaikos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raik İlkut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hayden Burley hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Stratos Paxinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dexter Holt in the 51st minute of play. Glauco Nascimento hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Mario Dutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Burley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Hayden Burley notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Panathinaikos FC's Mario Dutton. Mario Dutton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indrek Veskimeister in the 56th minute of play forced Stewe's goalkeeper Stratos Paxinos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dexter Holt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stratos Paxinos was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dexter Holt in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stratos Paxinos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stratos Paxinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indrek Veskimeister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stewe were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Panathinaikos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ryan West took the corner. The corner led Stewe's Martial Vrijdag to fire away a dangerous shot which Mario Dutton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 71st minute, Cary Doud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Paul Iftodi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panathinaikos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Iftodi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stratos Paxinos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 73 in the game by Ryan West from a close distance when the talented Mario Dutton managed to make a qualified save. Panathinaikos FC's players were relieved. Mario Dutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zackary Hedrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the match Stewe got a corner. Panathinaikos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ryan West ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stewe's Stratos Paxinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dexter Holt in the 82nd minute of play. Panathinaikos FC's Mario Dutton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Panathinaikos FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Hayden Burley took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Mario Dutton to make any attempt to save it. Stewe's Lamar Delong was substituted for Wayne Mays. Stratos Paxinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indrek Veskimeister, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the match was over Stewe could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Panathinaikos FC throughout the match.
