Spectators: 9222 (Terracing: 6918, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) Santos FC's Tyron Velasquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stratos Paxinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 3rd minute of the match. Cary Doud kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Keyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 17 played minutes Stewe got a freekick which was hit by Martial Vrijdag. 21 minutes into the match, Stewe's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Gilmore came free, but Stratos Paxinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Lanny Gilmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Paxinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Stewe getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Martial Vrijdag hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stratos Paxinos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thomas Bergstrøm made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santos FC's Tory Weeks. After some careless play in the Stewe defense, Lanny Gilmore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stratos Paxinos. The Stewe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stratos Paxinos should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Stewe's zone, Tyron Velasquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stratos Paxinos came out of the goal and Tyron Velasquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zackary Hedrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Stewe's attack was well implemented in the 36th minute, but when Zackary Hedrick was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Stewe's Hayden Burley in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute Wayne Mays shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edmund Keyes fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stewe's protests and gave Edmund Keyes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Edmund Keyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Smallwood made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Zackary Hedrick sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hayden Burley to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Stewe's Quincy Wooten got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Lanny Gilmore notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Stewe's Stratos Paxinos. Stratos Paxinos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Lanny Gilmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Paxinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Keyes came free, but Aaron Smallwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stewe's goalkeeper Stratos Paxinos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stratos Paxinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lanny Gilmore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayden Burley in the 75th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayden Burley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aaron Smallwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes in the game Martial Vrijdag did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zackary Hedrick. In the 87th minute Edmund Keyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Hayden Burley almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood did a great save. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayden Burley in the 90th minute of play. Stratos Paxinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 93rd minute of play. Hayden Burley struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Aaron Smallwood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stewe. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Santos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
