But to his dismay, Paul Iftodi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingo Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of Panathinaikos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wilfred Noel placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 55 minutes into the game, Panathinaikos FC's Dexter Holt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilbur Hyde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save El Canalla de Chicago from getting a goal against them. Wilbur Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dexter Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Dutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Lopez in the 60th minute of play. Mario Dutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Adams in the 62nd minute of the match. Paul Iftodi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Wilbur Hyde made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goalkeeper Wilbur Hyde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Iftodi. El Canalla de Chicago's Justin Raines was substituted for Tom Adams. Paul Iftodi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 93 minutes of play, Panathinaikos FC's Dexter Holt made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilbur Hyde was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Panathinaikos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Canalla de Chicago.
