In the 71stth minute of the game Paul Iftodi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chisholm Rookie's Danial McDermott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Jackson Caballero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Panathinaikos FC's Dexter Holt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The corner was taken by Jackson Caballero in the 88th minute. It was a well-played corner which Adolfo Dorsey managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 92 minutes into the game, Dexter Holt lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Danial McDermott. In the 96thth minute of the game Connor Christie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panathinaikos FC's Mario Dutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panathinaikos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
