Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mustapha Al-Jazairia kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Yasmina Yahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Chapel Hill's goalkeeper Madhi Djamel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Baptiste Azem. A hard shot 8 in the game by Jean-Baptiste Azem from a close distance when the talented Madhi Djamel managed to make a qualified save. Chapel Hill's players were relieved. Madhi Djamel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khair ad-Din Brahimi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustapha Al-Jazairia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abd el Hamdani having to make a save. In the 14th minute, Yasmina Yahia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Fawzi Assad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chapel Hill's Moulay Bedjaoui couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Abu Dhabi United. If Tedj Ben Khalidi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Madhi Djamel was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Mohamed Mezair capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mohamed Mezair really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Fodil Abbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madhi Djamel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Azem, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, Chapel Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahar Lamine to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Mohamed Gourion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Chapel Hill's Moulay Bedjaoui tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Baptiste Azem was the one to do the kick off. Madhi Djamel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Baptiste Azem's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Yasmina Yahia kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Chapel Hill's Mustapha Al-Jazairia in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abu Dhabi United's goalie prevented a goal. Mohamed Gourion kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Mustapha Al-Jazairia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Abd el Hamdani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 60 played minutes Abu Dhabi United got a freekick which was hit by Hocine Sadaoui. Mustapha Al-Jazairia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abd el Hamdani having to interfere. Halim Firoud's late challenge caught a Abu Dhabi United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halim Firoud helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Halim Firoud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Baptiste Azem in the 76th minute of play forced Chapel Hill's goalkeeper Madhi Djamel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chapel Hill's Madhi Djamel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Azem in the 80th minute of play. If Jean-Baptiste Azem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Abu Dhabi United getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fawzi Assad hit a great ball. Moulay Bedjaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes in the game Tahar Lamine got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
