Delmar Rock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Allain kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Rosetown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Irvin Penn came free, but Harry Deserres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Deserres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marlin Rouse in the 19th minute of the match. Delmar Rock struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Elisha Norris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosetown FC. Irvin Penn took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Deserres. Harry Deserres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Rosetown FC booed when Chignecto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irvin Penn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosetown FC's Harry Deserres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marlin Rouse in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute Delmar Rock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elisha Norris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlin Rouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Deserres having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Delmar Rock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chignecto FC's Elisha Norris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Rosetown FC's zone, Irvin Penn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Deserres came out of the goal and Irvin Penn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marlin Rouse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Harry Deserres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Deserres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marlin Rouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marlin Rouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Deserres having to interfere. Irvin Penn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Harry Deserres made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Brain Wilkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irvin Penn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Deserres having to interfere. César Holloway kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Irvin Penn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 80 minutes, Marlin Rouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chignecto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marlin Rouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Chignecto FC's Marlin Rouse dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 90th minute, Chignecto FC's Marlin Rouse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harry Deserres. Harry Deserres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Chignecto FC's Omar Dostie got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Marlin Rouse took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Harry Deserres to make any attempt to save it. Chignecto FC played a much better game than Rosetown FC and deserved their victory. The Rosetown FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
