The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roderick Cousteau might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude English. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roderick Cousteau ran back to his position shaking his head. Roderick Cousteau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Claude English tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Deserres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio MacDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Micheal Pritchard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pakan and the Rosetown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rosetown FC booed when Pakan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micheal Pritchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roderick Cousteau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marcellus Meunier fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosetown FC's protests and gave Marcellus Meunier a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Rosetown FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcellus Meunier. After 43 played minutes Rosetown FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Rock. When Otha McMahon fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pakan's protests and gave Otha McMahon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pakan getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Otha McMahon hit a great ball. The Rosetown FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Rosetown FC's Roderick Cousteau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Preston Thomas came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Harry Deserres could save by the left post. The supporters of Pakan booed when Rosetown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Rock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Preston Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Deserres having to interfere. César Holloway hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Harry Deserres made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Preston Thomas sent off a good shot on target. Delmar Rock hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Rogelio MacDonald recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harry Deserres. Rogelio MacDonald showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Preston Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Preston Thomas got free with Harry Deserres in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rogelio MacDonald was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Rogelio MacDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
