After a defensive mix-up in Venice's zone, Matthieu Horne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainier Drouin came out of the goal and Matthieu Horne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Vicente Wilhelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainier Drouin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lefroy's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bryan DeGrasse 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The supporters of Lefroy booed when Venice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Finney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryan DeGrasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbain Gallardo having to interfere. Rainier Drouin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Wilhelm in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Bryan DeGrasse made the kick off in the second half. Urbain Gallardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Connors in the 59th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Luis Connors made a precise shot to the right of Urbain Gallardo. Lefroy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
