To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tlell's Dewayne Olson got a free kick in the 19th minute. Bruno Jewell's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Norberto Chabot on his right side and into the goal. 20 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Rudolf Francoeur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norberto Chabot having to make a save. Clint Gipson might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Chabot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clint Gipson ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Chabot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clint Gipson in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Augustin Sansouci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tlell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Sansouci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tuan Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clint Gipson in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Chabot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Tuan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Trimble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Clint Gipson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 94th minute, Clint Gipson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Norberto Chabot, passed just outside the right post. Rudolf Francoeur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Chabot having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
